Thailandia . . .

Shawney's having a pretty spectacular time with Help International in Thailand.  She's both working hard . . . .

and having a ton of local fun . . . .

Let's hope she doesn't get done in by a wild animal before she's home safe and sound!

On my honor . . .

These two boys are closing in on their Eagle Scout awards . . .

Max has a project (in the works and ready to roll in August . . .) and some merit badges to do.  And Chapman just completed his project!

Look at this courtyard at our local elementary - it has an awesome pond - but it's difficult for the teacher's to hold any organized instructional time out here.

So Chap gathered together a stellar crew and made eight sturdy benches for the courtyard, enabling the teachers to have some quality outdoor instruction time with their students.
It was a really hot day - 100 degrees! - but these workers didn't stop til the job was done!

The finished product - a lovely outdoor classroom!!!  Good work, Chap.

He's the man . .

Doesn't he look like the best dad ever?  Daren is a great father to our family - kind, wise, hard-working, even-tempered, loving.  So it wasn't hard to shower him with a few goodies on father's day - bike helmet, A&W root beer, a yummy dinner, and some good ol' love and attention.  We're glad he's the dad!
